Gurugram, November 06, 2024: Azure Power Global Limited (the “Company” or “Azure”), an independent sustainable energy solutions provider and renewable power producer in India, today announced that Ms. Supriya Prakash Sen, an Independent Non-Executive Director, has stepped down from her position effective close of business on September 30, 2024, to pursue other opportunities.
Ms. Supriya has been a steadfast and committed member of the Azure board throughout its complex journey over the past four years. She has consistently exhibited a broad understanding of the business, thoughtfully integrating strategic, financial, ESG, and governance considerations. We extend our best wishes for her future endeavours.
The Company also announced that Ms. Pratibha Bajaj has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company and of Azure Power India Private Limited as the nominee of CDPQ Infrastructures Asia Pte Ltd., effective October 23, 2024.
Ms. Pratibha Bajaj, a seasoned investment professional with more than 15 years of experience, currently serves as Senior Director of Infrastructure at CDPQ India. In this role, she drives new business opportunities in India and the Middle East. Prior to her current position, she held the position of Lead, Digital Infrastructure, Asia Pacific at the International Finance Corporation.
